It can be lonely living with cancer. Sometimes you may feel that the only people who can truly appreciate what you're going through are those who are in similar circumstances.

This bulletin board service is designed to help you reach out and meet others online who are facing the same kinds of challenges you are with mesothelioma.

How to use the bulletin board

You can read any post simply by clicking on the highlighted words. To write a post yourself, you must first register.

To register:

• Click "Register" in the top menu across the page.
• Fill in the requested information. You might want to consider using an alias for anonymity and/or be careful about disclosing any legal actions you may be taking.
• Click "Save my registration" if you want the system to remember you. Otherwise, write down your user name and password somewhere you can find them for next time.
• Click "Log in" and type in your user name and password in the spaces.

To post a message:

• Click the topic area of interest.
• On the next screen, click the button "New Post."
• Fill in the "subject" line as you wish. Type your message in the text box.
• Click "Preview" if you want to review your message before you post it.
• Click "Post" if you are satisfied.
• If you have posted a message and change your mind about it, you can select the hammer icon ("management") to delete or edit your post.
